A summer school for an open society
This is an invitation for FOIA nerds to spend some Fridays this summer getting together and learning new transparency chops. As I mentioned during the podcast video I posted earlier today, I’m going to host a series of virtual gatherings (and one in-person at AILA in Chicago) for people looking to become more familiar and sharpen skills in federal and state open records work.
Depending on interest, we’ll do a requestor track, a litigator track, and a media track, or some combination thereof. If you’re looking for a flavor of what to expect, here’s a video I posted over on the Media Requestor substack earlier today:
