Biden's CBP dumps news of 12 previously undisclosed deaths before last day in office.

In a fitting end to his failed presidency, Joe Biden’s CBP press office buried the news of a dozen previously undisclosed deaths in custody just before his administration headed for the exits. This was not the Mass Release advocates had hoped for. But it was on-brand for the dawdling soon-to-be former president and his incompetent lackeys.

At 11:50 A.M. EST on Thursday, January 16, 2025—less than two full working days before the end of his term, the press office began dumping news of more than 10 dead migrants they’d previously kept out of the public eye.

The releases came one after another:

These weren’t recent deaths. They were months old.

True to form, Biden’s border propagandists offered no explanation about why these deaths were withheld until the eve of the inauguration. They didn’t even bother to update the notices - all of which involved deaths more than 4-6 months ago - to reflect the results of the autopsy and investigation CBP says it conducted.

The headlines CBP attaches to each of these notifications attribute migrant deaths to a variety of alleged causes after something they did wrong:

1. June 25, 2024 - El Paso, Texas. Drowning in a river after evading Border Patrol Agents (3 dead, including a 16 year-old girl)

2. July 12, 2024 - McAllen, Texas. Dying of “heat-related injuries” after illegally crossing the border

3. July 17, 2024 - Eustis, Maine. Dying by suicide after Border Patrol Agents’ attempts to stop [the death]

4. July 16, 2024 - Topawa, Arizona. Dying of heat-related injuries after crossing the border

5. July 14, 2024 - Santa Teresa, New Mexico & El Paso, Texas. Being crushed under a crashed smuggling vehicle after fleeing from Border Patrol

6. June 27, 2024 - Sells, Arizona. Dying in the Sonoran desert after being left behind.

7. June 23, 2024 - Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Succumbing to exposure after being found by Border Patrol Agents

8. July 2, 2024, Santa Teresa, New Mexico & El Paso, Texas. Dying in a car crash after following failing to yield to Texas DPS Trooper in El Paso

9. July 4, 2024 - Nogales, Arizona. Dying after being struck by a motorist on Interstate 19

10. August 4, 2024 - Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Dying at a Border Patrol station after being transported in from the field.

They couldn’t just mourn the death of these humans. No. They had to attribute each death to the person’s alleged wrongdoing. They did so even where it was so clearly the actions of law enforcement officials and the deadly Deterrence system that created the conditions where these deaths were not only possible, not only predictable, but planned.

Few will notice these late-filed death notifications. Even fewer will care enough to ask why they were delayed. My guess is the tally of elected officials and mainstream reporters asking these questions will be exactly zero. And with that, Joe Biden’s failed presidency will soon be swept into the dustbin of history. Good riddance.
